Guided excursions through iconic panoramas, Alpine history, and authentic flavors, followed by moments of pure relaxation in the heart of the Dolomites.
Sunday at 6:00 PM
On Sunday evening, before dinner, we'll all gather in the breakfast room for a welcome aperitif.
It will be an informal time to get to know each other and meet Andrea, the owner of El Giof, and Roberto, your excursion guide.
During the aperitif, the week's excursion programs will be presented in detail, and any questions you may have will be answered before departure.
A full day immersed in the Brenta Dolomites, considered among the most beautiful mountains in the world.
We will depart from the Brenta Valley, far from traffic, climbing towards the Vallesinella Waterfalls to the Tuckett Refuge (2,272 m).
The descent will cross one of the wildest and most fascinating areas of the Brenta, following a circular route that offers iconic and unforgettable views.
An excursion along the ancient routes connecting the Tonale Pass and the Pejo Valley, used for centuries by people, animals, and armies.
From the Tonale Pass, we'll climb toward the Contrabbandieri Pass (2,661 m), the ancient border between Austria and Italy, before descending to the Bozzi Refuge (2,478 m).
A short but intense climb will take us to Forcellina (2,613 m), from which the spectacular Montozzo Valley opens up before us, which we'll follow in its entirety to Lake Pian Palù and return to Fontanino.
We'll reach the Val di Pejo and, thanks to the ski lifts, the area of the Rifugio Scoiattolo (2,008 m).
From here, along an easy downhill path, we'll reach the picturesque Covel plain, an area rich in history and ancient pastures.
The Brida family will welcome us to their farm for a tasting of the finest products from the Brida butcher shop, accompanied by excellent local wines.
The return to the valley will be along a comfortable forest road.

We are the Brida Brothers, founders of our butcher shop in 2020. We combine a passion for meat, experience, and complementary skills: Elia leads the kitchen with precision and creativity, while Andrea personally selects the meats from certified farms and oversees every detail of the production process. From artisanal aging to traditional cured meats, everything stems from the desire to offer quality, authenticity, and authentic local flavors.

All gastronomic experiences included in the packages (dinner, tasting, or Brida Box) are already included in the stay price. No separate booking is required.

Our Guide is a Medium Mountain Guide, a fully licensed professional registered with the Trentino Alpine Guides Association.
In addition to knowing these itineraries like the back of his hand, he is also an expert on the mountain landscape, history, and local traditions.
With him, going on a hike isn't just walking, but truly immersing yourself in the fascinating world of Alpine culture.
Travel is independent from the Residence using your own transportation, with everyone departing together.
The Guide will provide all the necessary information to reach the excursion starting point. We will also strive to optimize transportation by reducing the number of cars, to speed up travel and parking.
Each excursion includes a lunch stop at a typical mountain refuge.
There are no problems for those who prefer to carry a packed lunch in their backpack.
Half-day trips last from morning until lunchtime (around 1:00 PM) or, if in the afternoon, from 2:00 PM to approximately 6:00 PM.
Full-day trips last from morning until afternoon (around 5:00 PM).
You don't walk continuously for these hours: there are breaks for eating, resting, and going to the bathroom, and the pace is never that of trained athletes.
Dogs are welcome, as long as they are non-aggressive, accustomed to the presence of other people, and their owners follow the Guide's instructions for proper positioning within the group.
Safety comes first, which is why we strongly advise against tackling the mountain without appropriate footwear.
Ask us for advice on where to buy good shoes: we'll be happy to help.
We recommend comfortable clothing suitable for walking (avoid jeans, skirts, and tight-fitting dresses).
In the mountains, it's good practice to be prepared for changes in weather and temperature: always have an extra fleece or sweatshirt, a spare t-shirt, and a waterproof jacket in your backpack.
It's also very important to protect yourself from the sun: sunglasses, a hat, SPF 50+ sunscreen, and lip balm are highly recommended.
Generally speaking, yes, although it's always advisable to notify the guide before departure if you're not in perfect shape.
Each excursion includes rest stops that can serve as intermediate stops or suitable return points.
The mountains are fascinating even in less than perfect weather. In case of bad weather or unfavorable forecasts, our guide will be able to modify the itinerary and make the best decisions to ensure you have fun in complete safety.
No specific equipment is required, other than good shoes suitable for the trails (no smooth soles, no sneakers).
A backpack with a rain jacket, a spare t-shirt, a water bottle, something to eat, and a fleece or sweatshirt is recommended.
Our excursions are suitable for everyone and are not particularly difficult.
However, they do not take place on flat terrain, so it is normal for those less fit to experience some fatigue or shortness of breath. From a technical standpoint, these are not mountaineering itineraries, but when traveling in a mountain environment, common sense and following the Guide's advice are always necessary.
Of course! They just need to be used to walking a little. Children perceive fatigue very differently from adults: in general, with frequent breaks, good motivation, and regular meals, even fairly long excursions can be undertaken with children aged 5–6.
Each Experience package includes a specific type of apartment: Burger Experience, Marenda Experience, and De-gust Experience can be combined with Standard Apartments (spacious, ideal for families or groups), while the Prime Experience is exclusively paired with Prime Apartments (luxury studios with spa access included). This configuration cannot be changed, but you can contact us to check availability for upgrades or personalized solutions for your stay in Val di Sole.
Spa access is included only with the Prime Experience. The other packages do not include spa entry, but it can be requested as an extra (subject to availability).
The booking of the dinner or gastronomic tasting included in your Brida Experience must be made directly at check-in at our facility. Our staff will assist you by checking real-time availability at Ristomacelleria Brida Brothers. This system ensures you always get the best possible experience, perfectly coordinating the tasting times with your stay. We recommend informing us of any dietary preferences or special needs at the time of booking your stay so that, together with the Brida Brothers, we can find the best solutions to make your gastronomic experience truly unforgettable.
